Holiday tradition

Williston Christmas Parade

  • December 2026, date to be announced
  • Evening, route lights up at dusk
  • Main Street, downtown Williston

About the parade

The Williston Christmas Parade is how the whole town kicks off the holidays. Families line Main Street as floats, fire trucks, marching bands, horses, and local businesses roll through in lights, with Santa bringing up the rear. It is free, it is festive, and it is one of our favorite nights of the year.

Bring a chair, bundle up, and come early for a good spot.

Be part of it

  • Enter a float and put your business in the lights
  • Sponsor the parade and have your name announced along the route
  • Volunteer to help line up entries and keep the night running
  • Local groups, schools, and churches are all welcome to march

Enter a float

Float entries are open to members, civic groups, schools, and local organizations. There is no better way to be seen by the whole community in one festive evening. Chamber members get priority placement and waived entry fees.

Entry forms open in the fall. Members are notified first by email.
